Arch's PicturesFushimi Inari Taisha (Nikon D5300)
It was a visit to a shrine today and Kyoto is packed full of them. This one has a train of red arches that run up the mountain, which we started following, but after a long while decided that our progress was not enough for us to bother carrying on with. On the way up there are smaller shrines often including foxes which are revered and can possess you via your fingernails, probably started as a parent’s tactic to get their kids to wash their hands properly.

Platt Fileds Church Remembrance (QTEK 9100)
On the way out of the Church on the edge of Platt Fields there is an entrance just like all churches. It's a small roofed gate area that you walk through and I suspect most people don't look at it for obvious reasons and perhaps most churches aren't like this one. I don't know.
I have passed through many church roofed gate area and I have never see this. This is one of the two sides of the area where the names of the of the First World War are carved. I apologise for those that are on the other side (that I saw first but the explanation was on this side) that I have not got a picture of those but perhaps you can make the difference and visit it.

Arch in Trentham (Nisis DV5)
I saw this arch and decided it might look like a good picture and I don't think it went to badly even though I say so myself. It's a view from the house (I think it's a house, we didn't get to Trentham Gardens to late so we had little time to look around) looking towards the massive lake. It would have been good to look more around the house though there was little time.

Iron Bridge (Nisis DV5)
In the area where we were staying in Telford is Ironbridge and it's famous Ironbridge. Nothing to report here apart from the fact that it was raining hard and it would be a really nice place to go when it's nice and sunny, which it wasn't, so it was quite a dreary place to be in some ways. After this it was off to the tile museum to look at… tiles.

Blind Lane (Sony Ericsson K700i)
Blind Lane, turn into this lane and it's almost as if you've travelled back in time I feel. Just off to the right is Ardwick Station, but I have absolutely no idea what that building on the right was, it seems too small to be a house, but it's got two floors and a chimney. Who knows?
