Reflections's PicturesPages Skipton Reflection (QTEK 9100)
Similar to a picture taken in Florence this is a picture of the sun in a window of Skipton castle. This time I had to wait less time. From what I remember of the Florence picture I camped out there with my girlfriend waiting for the sun to come back out from behind the clouds. Also this time I had my QTEK and not a decent camera to counteract any underexposure that could be caused by the sun being directed straight into the camera.

Imperial War Museum (QTEK 9100)
This is just a quick picture of the Imperial War Museum North. You may have seen many picturs of the building. This view is quite deceptive in that it sort of looks like the building could be a big square block of a building all made of glass, but this bit (the observation tower) is a squint shiny metal structure. The museum inside is as odd as the outside, not a traditional museum at all. Did I enjoy it... well I think I would have enjoyed it more if I'd have been in the mood for a museum, I was more in the mood for doing something interesting and after being spoilt by the good weather the last couple of days my mind was more set on being outside, however the rain and cold suggested outdoor activities should be curtailed.

Smoking Towers (QTEK 9100)
More extreme weather from Zamyatin. Heavy snow one week and the day Manchester was shrouded in thick fog or mist (I don't know the difference no doubt there is a difference). I think this may have started as mist then ended up as fog, and quite bad fog. Here you can see mist around the Co-op building (I thinks it's the Co-op building) with the sun reflecting through it. Again as usual it looked better in real life.

More Reflections (Nisis DV5)
Having a walk in Reddish Vale (again), the sun was out and it was quite a nice day, even though the morning was rather cold, but still bright. This appeared to be a good picture however I'm not really too impressed with how it turned out. One thing that's probably had to make out (if not impossible) is the heron sitting on a branch just right of the centre of the shot. Mind you unless I hadn't have seen the bird land there myself; I'd not have guessed it was there. Anyway I liked the reflections so took the picture; of course the sky is a little overexposed reminding me why I should take more pictures with my 35mm cameras, because they allow me more control of the overall exposure.

On Reflection Again (Nisis DV5)
Simple shot of nothing much with the reflection adding something to the picture... well that was the hope anyway. Dunham Massey again just coming to the end of the walk.

A crane in the centre of Manchester taken from as a reflection from Malmaison’s window, you can see the blinds if you look close. What you can also see is where the brightest bit of the sun is. There was a black spot in the sun on the photo due to the cameras detector getting saturated by the brightness of the sun. This has been edited out.
